Local Maori artist & carver Brian Mitchell began Tahi Toi as a way to promote Northlands unique culture and talented artists. Also being a current member of "Te Kupenga Toi Roopu" a Whangarei based arts trust, who are committed to assisting emerging and local artists in all mediums.
